The African Capacity Building Centre (ACBC) was pleased to welcome to Moshi IOM’s Regional Director for East and the Horn of Africa, Mr. Mohammed Abdiker, and IOM's Chief of Mission for Tanzania, Dr. Qasim Sufi, on February 5th.
The visit included a meeting with Commandant Abdallah Towo, the head of the Tanzanian Regional Immigration Training Academy (TRITA), and a tour of Holili/Taveta border facilities where Tanzanian and Kenyan immigration and customs officials showcased the benefits of IOM's one-stop border post (OSBP) model.
The visit was also a good opportunity to discuss ACBC support and further collaboration with Tanzanian Regional Immigration Training Academy.
